Northern christian Leaders have endorsed Gen Mohammed Buhari for the 2015 elections, saying that what Nigeria needs is a leader who can protect both Muslims and Christians. This was at a meeting held by the Northern christian leaders which held in Abuja, the subject matter being "peace in the run up to 2015 elections". The leader of the forum addressed the misconception and notion people had of the General as being mean and a fanatic was misleading and assured the people that he is the best candidate to rule because he had the interest of Nigerians at heart.
