Fulani herdsman came at a rampage killing innocent people in the residence of Egba village in Agatu local government area of Benue state yesterday, killing over 90 persons including women and children.... The attack according to some eye witneses started about 4am where the fulani herdsman stormed the village killing their victims who were asleep,after destroying the community they also went about destroying trees, food barns and farm lands. They were said to have gained access into the community through Loko in neighboring Nassarawa state breaking in and shooting people, hauling away whoever they met including women and children. According to sources about 90 corpses were recovered with many injured, as search and rescue efforts have been dispatched to help the survivors of the attack. The Benue state police commissioner Mr Dagala said that his men are around to restore peace but unfortunately they were only able to restore 30 dead bodies... This is another sad story,...
